I’m the person behind SketchLoose – I teach people how to sketch with confidence and joy, using ink and watercolour. No perfectionism. No rules. Just great art.
Life Outside the Sketchbook
My biggest inspiration? My 5-month-old son, already attacking a page with crayons like he owns it (to be clear, I assisted him with this sketch a little).
My wife is incredible, intelligent, supportive, generous and patient enough to live with me. Our dog is… a lot. Enthusiastically, gloriously, unstoppably a lot. And we love it.
When we’re not at home making a mess with art supplies, we’re outside, camping, hiking, finding new places to be. The outdoors is where I do my best thinking and my best drawing.
